Day 1Aqaba – Petra
This tour offers day trips to Petra from your hotel, where your tour manager will pick you up and drive you towards the “rose-red” city of Petra, which is the biggest attraction in Jordan. Petra was established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, who laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Upon arrival, you will start the tour on horseback through the canyon, known as the Siq, and then continue on foot to visit the most beautiful monument, the Treasury, along with other monuments such as the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle. Petra is also recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. After the tour, you will be driven back to the hotel to conclude your day trip to Petra from Aqaba or Amman, Jordan.
